Dr. Fibel graduated from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine residency training at the University of California, San Diego. He went on to complete a Sports Medicine fellowship at the #1 Orthopaedic Hospital in the country, Hospital for Special Surgery, where he served as an assistant team physician for several sports teams including the New York Giants, New York Mets, St. John’s Athletics, as well as several local high school football teams. Dr. Fibel sees patients of all ages including adolescents participating in recreational sporting activities, weekend warriors, individuals engaging in exercise programs for their health, and those battling with arthritis affecting their daily activities.

Dr. Fibel’s expertise lies in his conservative, non-surgical approach to sports-related injuries including those that are acute, chronic, or from overuse. While his goal is to help patients avoid surgery and return to their activities, he has an in-depth understanding of surgical indications which allows him to provide appropriate recommendations and guidance to all of his patients.
